I can't believe that it has been 40 years since we graduated from Covina High School! The time has flown by so fast and seems to go faster every year. Looking through the reunion website I see so many familiar faces and it really brings back some great memories. I also am sad to see so many deceased classmates now. One, I saw at the last reunion.

Out of high school I stayed single and worked at Standard Oil for a few years, then moved to Pasadena and worked for Hartford Insurance with classmate Linda Robinson who, sadly, is now deceased. After that, I moved back to West Covina where I became engaged to, and married Rod Arnold. His sister Vickie Arnold was always my best friend in high school, and it's neat that we ended up being sisters-in-law as well. We grew up together and were family all these years. I also am in contact with classmate and good friend Beverly Brownell who lives near me. She is doing well and is cheerful as ever!

We have been married 33 years this year and have one son, named Jason who is married to a great girl named Leah. We have no grandchildren as yet but we are hopeful! Jason and Leah live near us and we enjoy doing things and going places with them a lot. My husband and I love to camp and fish and really enjoy spending time together at church (Calvary Chapel Chino Hills) with friends and doing whatever.

I have worked for the Ontario-Montclair School District for the last 22 years as an instructional aide, and 20 of those years in Special Ed. It's a very rewarding job and I enjoy the kids a lot. I'm now looking forward to retirement in a few years and all the free time that will bring!

I won't be attending the reunion this time around but will certainly be thinking of you on August 16. I would love to hear from you. If anyone would like to contact me, Cliveden has my e-mail address. Best wishes to all of you and I will definitely be at the next reunion!
