Update January 2008

Dear Cliveden [and everyone else!]

,

Thank you for all your efforts in putting together this reunion. Although I have been retired for a couple of years now, when I was working it was for a Department "run by committee," so I know first hand how difficult it is to successfully organize an event involving sooooo many people.

After spending 31 years working for the protection of animals, I spend a lot of time supporting Huntington Beach "Dog Beach." If you get a chance, "Google" Dog Beach and look for "Maisey" our Dachshund. Her name is actually "Maisy," but Martin misspelled it on his website. We also race Maisy at Old World Village, but as she is only 8 months old, she doesn't qualify for the "Wiener Nationals" (until she is one year old), however, she has won every puppy race she has been in.

Rosie and I are looking forward to meeting and, in my case, reconnecting with people I have not seen in years.

See ya there,

Jim
