Covina High School Class of 1968

Vickie (Arnold) Moon

I just finished going through the latest additions to the website and am so saddened to see many of our classmates deceased. I am fortunate to have my health.

I married Larry Moon, former 1966 Covina High graduate, in 1969. We have two daughters, ages 36 and 34. They are both teachers here in San Diego. I am the proud grandmother of Jacob Michael, age 4 1/2, and Olivia Grace, age 2 1/2. They are the highlights of my life.

I am with the San Diego Police Dept. out of Traffic Division. That position keeps me very busy, but I enjoy the people and there is always something different going on each day.

I enjoy spending time with the daughters, son-in-laws, and children; surfing, riding my horse, fishing, hiking; camping and sky diving, of which I decided to hang up my helmet when Jacob was born. I guess I can say that I gather no moss under my feet! Haven't had TV in 30 years. I try to cram as much time into each day as I can.

I will miss seeing all of you at this year's reunion. I will be getting ready to leave for some relaxation with friends in Kauai. Hope to see you next time. Feel free to contact me. Would love to hear from you.
