How "groovy" it is to read about the 1968 graduates of Covina High. What memories! Hoping to accrue some interesting and exciting adventures in my life. I have waited until the last possible moment to write! I feel I have led a wonderful life, thus far, even though I haven't traveled the world or become a famous personality! More |

Forty years – after reading some of the life stories on the reunion webpage, it makes it seem like it was just yesterday! Here is my forty years. Two days after graduation, I left town to play professional baseball with the beloved Chicago Cubs. At the same time, as many of you did, I had to worry about the military draft. It was a real possibility that I would be tossing grenades and not baseballs, so I joined the US Army Reserves and continued my baseball career. Just a side note, I remained in the Army Reserves for 26 years, retiring in 1995 as a Command Sergeant Major. More |

Hello Class of '68, I can't believe that it has been 40 years since we graduated from Covina High School! The time has flown by so fast and seems to go faster every year. Looking through the reunion website I see so many familiar faces and it really brings back some great memories. I also am sad to see so many deceased classmates now. One, I saw at the last reunion. After graduation, I knew that the education I would get in college would be redundant to the Covina High diploma, so I traveled the world looking for enlightenment. In a South American hovel I learned the meaning of life, and received the notice of the CHS reunion on the same day. I left Lake Titicaca immediately and started back to Socal. Not wanting to impact the ozone layer unduly, I meandered homeward in a rubber raft. Now that I am home my environmental ideals are compromised, since I feel that there is at least a partial trade off between saving jet fuel and taking dumps over the side of a rubber boat. More |

After graduating Covina High, I attended San Diego State (Alan Leiberman was also there) for about 5 years, and earned enough units to be a junior. I ran a gardening business, and off-set printed a little poetry magazine, and met my future wife (34 yrs now) through my Sigma Pi faternity. More |

I just finished going through the latest additions to the website and am so saddened to see many of our classmates deceased. I am fortunate to have my health. I married Larry Moon, former 1966 Covina High graduate, in 1969. We have two daughters, ages 36 and 34. They are both teachers here in San Diego. I am the proud grandmother of Jacob Michael, age 4 1/2, and Olivia Grace, age 2 1/2. They are the highlights of my life. More |

Hi! 30 years later (attended 10yr) When I saw that all my friends are running this website I decided I better get in touch again. I was devasted to hear about Jerry Kern. He and I worked for the same company back in my early 20's in Los Angeles before I transferred to Cleveland, Ohio. I actually lived in Ohio almost 7 years before transferring back to Los Angeles because I missed seeing my niece and nephew grow up. More |

How awesome to hear from you. I am now living in Sacramento and I am going back to nursing school, my dream since I was little. I have been divorced for 20 years. Gad where does the time go. I have four grown children and 7 grandchildren. I lived in Klamath Falls for about a year and a half after becoming disabled. Retired life doesn't suit me so I am starting over career-wise. The acre and a half was too much for me to take care of on my own and shoveling snow was almost impossible. Thanks for the contact. I can't believe we have been out of High School almost 40 years. Sometimes I still feel 16 years old. Take care and keep in touch. G-O-O-O-O-O-O-O COLTS!!!!!!!! |

Married for 25 years to Paul DiCaro. One son, Michael, age 20. We live in Tucson, AZ. After high school, I attended Mt. SAC and then transferred to Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California, where I got my BA in Psychology and Expressive Arts. I then organized a co-op market in Santa Rosa, California, and organized organic farmers to sell their products to co-ops and at a farmer's market. Met my husband Paul negotiating over the price of bell peppers, as he was part of a cooperative organic farm and I was distributing the produce. I then did work with autistic adolescents part time while I took classes in development, movement, and psychology and continued to farm organic produce. More |
